Materials:
1/2 yard of Flannel makes 4 Wipes
Thread
Sewing machine With a Zig-Zag Stitch or
You can use your Serger
Washable Fabric Pen

Rotary Cutter (Optional) or Scissors

Makes these ( 8" x 7") Cloth Wipes!

Instructions:

1. Cut with your rotary cutter or scissors (2) squares of flannel measuring 9" Wide x 8" Tall

2. Place one pattern side up and the other square pattern side down. Pin in place at least 1/2" way from the raw edges.

3. Using a sphere shape (plastic cup, plate etc.) using a washable
fabric pen, begin to create rounded corners. Cut the corners.

4. Place the squares on you sewing machine, starting in the bottom center of one corner, begin to sew all the way around about 1/2" from the raw edges, being sure to follow the rounded corners evenly. Stop about 3-4" from your starting stitch, backstitch. You Should have about a 3" gap that is big enough to fit your fingers through, to turn the project inside out. (See Video)

5.Evenly flatten out all your corners, tuck in your opening until it matches the bottom of your square. Iron Flat.

6. Return the square to your machine and begin to sew a zig zag stitch over your opening first, then forward to the entire wipe until you reach your start point , backstitch at start point. You could also use a serger which is better for durability of the wipes. They will be repeatedly washed so you need to be sure that you have stitched your opening shut.

You will also need a cloth baby wipe recipe, you can find many online.
